A caring heart, a listening ear,
A thoughtful word, a gentle tear,
Will help to lift the heavy load
Of weary souls along life’s road.

Our God is God - He does not change;
His truth and love remain the same.
He’s faithful to His matchless name,
For God is God-He does not change.

The journey that we’re on each day
Has many roads to choose;
But if we trust the Lord to guide,
Our way, we cannot loose.

When rough the path from day to day,
When sorrows fill our eyes with tears,
Our choice to find our joy in Christ
Can soothe our soul and calm our fears.

O Lord, return me to your power
That once by grace I knew;
Forgive the sin that grieves your heart,
And help me to be true.

He will ever keep thy soul,
What would harm, He will control.
In the home and by the way,
He will keep thee day by day.

~~o~~

Lord, help us to tell of your love for mankind…
A love for the sin-sick, the broken, the blind.
And help them to see by the way that we live…
The wholeness of life that you long to give.

Consider what the Lord has done
For you and those you love;
Then give Him thanks with hearts of praise
For blessings from above.

Not to the strong is the battle,
Not to the swift is the race;
Yet to the true and the faithful
Victory is promised through grace.

Fret not for want of earthly things,
They’ll never satisfy;
The secret of contentment is..
To let the Lord supply.

When things don’t seem to go your way
And all your efforts can’t prevail,
It’s time to turn to God and pray-
His way is right, He cannot fail.

As you have loved me, let me love
Lost souls in darkness dwelling;
To draw the needy ones to you,
Lord give a zeal compelling!

But they that wait upon the Lord Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings as eagles…
