Joe had grey eyes, brown hair and was short with a medium build[1a].  He lived in Lufkin, Texas, USA and was a cook for J. H. Purvis[1a].  He married Allie Mae GILMORE[4] who was born about 1888 in Texas[5].

iv.  Joseph Barton JACKSON, Jr.7(Joseph6Robert5Joseph4Joseph3Joseph2Joseph1) was born 31 Jan 1911 and died 1968 in Los Angeles, California.
v.  Prudie Lee "Louise" JACKSON7(Joseph6Robert5Joseph4Joseph3Joseph2Joseph1) was born Apr 1913 and died Nov 1989 in Carthage, Missouri.
vi.  Ailene P. JACKSON7(Joseph6Robert5Joseph4Joseph3Joseph2Joseph1) was born 30 Jan 1916 in Tecula, Texas, USA and died 07 Mar 1998 in Santa Barbara, California.
